Historical Overview

Established in 1977, at that time the "Orchid" was a small factory that cooperated with enterprises to manufacture horn speakers and sirens. The factory owner Mr. Yen Chin-Fa has experiences and technique in R&D, he did improvement on constructions, raw materials and processing, hence the improved articles with better quality drew a fruitful orders to Orchid Radio Co.,Ltd. Throughout the 1980, these products with "Orchid" logo has been as a famous brand in this field.

In 1990, Orchid entered the field of governmental tenders for police, army and fire-control in many various patented products as warning lightbar, warning lights, emergency siren amplifiers, traffic signals, policeman uniform equipment, megaphones, spot lights and some other special products. Those orders per year drew this company for well-known name and business. Simultaneously our relevant products had also been exported to worldwide areas.

Entering 2000, our company began to allocate big capital and many resources in researching HID conversion kits for headlight. Attribute to many years experiences in electronic ballast for lamps, HID ballast were successfully devised in 2001 and HID conversion kits on own brand, “POLAR” were began to illuminate in worldwide in the next year. Then, Orchid continued developing prevalent auto accessory products toward potential market demand. Nowadays, Orchid Radio Co., Ltd. has been sophisticated and professional manufacturer not only in road safety equipment, but also in fashionable auto accessories.
